Macon Georgia The Fun Part

So I didn't post about my slight parking fiasco. In general I am a bit of a pain in the ass to the parking system. Though I try to stay clear of the semi trucks and 60 tour buses, despite my efforts I get in the way. For example, in Charlotte I arrived really early and asked the venue parking folks where I should go. A very nice guy named Glen guided me to the farthest courner of this one area near the back stage. As it turned out, that was where Johnny P needed to park his 60 tour buses, but by the time it became an issue I had already set up the trailer and moved the van behind it. It turned out to be the perfect spot for us; near production, the bathrooms, the showers, the ampitheater and right dead center in the foot traffic route so everyone had to walk by us to get anywhere.

Then last night in St Petersberg, we were late arriving after looking at colleges and so I was told by the venue people that there was no more space near the tour buses. Even though I have a tour bus number and belong with them on some level, I'm a pop up trailer and the venue staff never believes me when I say that I get to be behind the security fencing. Yesterday I wound up about 4 blocks away on the city street, which would be ok except we have, what 25K worth of medical equipment in the van. Long story short, I wound up getting into the fenced area (another story) last night but it was work. So tonight, when I got here, I asked the hotel staff where I should park and followed their instructions procisely. No sooner had we unloaded the therapy vest and all Alec and Lizzi's crap when a very kind but insistent gentleman approached me and said that I couldn't park there. Unfortunately, I didn't realize he was a Warped Tour employee; I thought he was a hotel person and I was not very nice. I basically said that I was tired of being discriminated against because I wasn't driving a 500K tour bus, but I ended up moving just the same.
