The three of us walked around in a dream state until our stomaches could take no more emptiness at which point it was nearing 11 PM. Destiny was awaiting re-freshed after he nap an even Lu Lu revived from her coma so we headed out of Chicago tired, hungry (still no food all day) but happy.

The happiness faded though as we merged back into the insanity of the toll booths, traffic and potholes. I think we spent upwards of $40 bucks on tolls yesterday. Crazy!

The Indiana border proved to be a sea of paper factories (at least from the smell I couldn't really see anything beyond my beams) with narry a camp site to be had. Finally about 50 miles later, I waved the white flag and we pulled in to a Yogi Bear "camp resort".....that wanted to charge 60 bucks for a site. No F-ing way....especially after the 40 bucks ingested by the the toll takers.

Long story short, we slept not peacefully in the car.
